Tailor's Ham and Sleeve Roll Pattern - FREE

$0.00

This is a FREE sewing pattern that is great for using up scrap fabric! I try to be as zero-waste as possible with my sewing, so I save my fabric scraps for projects like this! You can use bigger scraps of fabric to make the outer pieces, and stuff the patterns with smaller scraps to prevent waste!

Tailor’s hams are used to help iron curved seams, like corsets for example. You can place your garment onto the tailor’s ham and iron the curved seam without distortion or folding that you would get on a flat surface!

Sleeve roll’s are used on garments like sleeves, and are useful for men’s dress shorts. You can insert them into the sleeve to iron it without creating 2 folds on the edges that would occur when ironing on a flat surface.

I hope you can use this pattern to make your own tailor’s ham and sleeve roll instead of buying them, and this free pattern is a great way to use up fabric scraps so you can be more waste-conscious!

You will receive the PDF for download instantly and will need to print and tape together the pattern. I have a full sewing tutorial on my Instagram linked!
